Frequently Asked Questions
Can partnership firms with SC/ST partners apply?
Yes, but the SC/ST partner(s) must hold minimum 51% of the partnership share. A certificate from the registrar of firms along with community certificates is required.
Do women SC/ST entrepreneurs get extra benefits?
Yes — women entrepreneurs receive an additional 1% interest subsidy on top of the base taluka-category rate, subject to the overall 9% interest subsidy ceiling.
Is the capital subsidy rate the same across Gujarat?
No. Gujarat is divided into Category I, II, and III talukas, each with a different capital subsidy cap — Category I (more developed areas) has the highest base cap at ₹40 lakh, down to ₹15 lakh in Category III.
How long does the process take from application to disbursement?
Typically 3–5 months for capital subsidy sanction, subject to DIC inspection and District Level Committee (DLC) approval. JSV Consultancy actively monitors and follows up throughout.
