Gujarat supports the development of common and link infrastructure facilities that serve industrial areas — from approach roads and utility networks to worker housing — reducing the burden on individual units to build shared infrastructure themselves.

What Qualifies as Industrial Infrastructure

Common and link infrastructure eligible for support under this scheme.

Common Infrastructure

Approach roads, road upgradation, bypass roads, bridges, overpasses, utility distribution networks, communication facilities, warehousing, fire stations, water treatment, desalination plants, and drainage systems for industrial areas.

Link Infrastructure

Last-mile connectivity infrastructure linking large industrial projects to the wider transport and utility network.

Worker Housing

Dormitory housing for industrial workers, developed by industry associations or SPVs, to support labour availability near industrial clusters.

Health Centers

Support for health center infrastructure serving industrial estates and their workforce.

Eligibility Criteria

Industries associations, chambers of commerce, or SPVs registered under the Societies Act, Trust Act, or Companies Act
Large Projects or industry groups undertaking common infrastructure development
Government departments, agencies, PSUs, boards, corporations, and municipal corporations are also eligible applicants
A detailed project report with infrastructure needs assessment and sectoral impact analysis must be submitted
